Hakim Alsadi

/biography

   Born in Sumerian. Painter and filmmaker. He studied Fine Arts. In 1979 he arrived in Madrid, the city where he has lived since that year, to do a doctorate and changes it direction studies and film script. Simultaneous studies with exposures of drawing, painting and engraving.
   In 1985 opened SUMER  the gallery space and workshop focused on the exchange of artists between Spain and the Middle East.
   Directed several shorts experimental film such as “Ensayo sobre Alexandro Spiguel”, “Los Valles del Silencio”, “El baile del ahorcado”…(super 8 mm y video)
   In 1986 he founded the Synthesis group devoted to experimentation and rupture of the graphic works.
   Directs and teaches seminars for Contemporary Art for musicians, actors, designers, painters ... in collaboration with the center Dada.
   Sets and staging for plays such as  Bodas de Sangre, Mara Sade…
   “Detalle del fragmento” key on joining five languages ​​in the same work space. Film, photography, painting, music and sculpture. Circulo de Bellas Artes of Madrid.1992.
    “Desnudez sobre el muro”, “Memorias borradas” are titles of some of his individual exhibitions in and out of Spain.
   He has written scripts for short and feature films. "Eva", “La Tentación”, “Madrid, la sonrisa imposible”, “Sentimientos a bordo”, “Al Otro Lado”, “Sonata para un diario”.
   He has conducted "Eva Venus sobre el eje" in 1993, “Madrid, la sonrisa imposible" in 1999-2000, “Sonata para un diario" in 2004 and "En un lugar de Gata" in 2006.
   “Los Colores del mañana” last film shot in and around Plasencia.
   His paintings are in private and public collections.
